say the words that’ll pierce right through your heart
and the scars will tell of a tale of who we are
‘cause my shields are down and took off my crown
for a time to be with you
so say the words that’ll pierce right through your heart

then you spoke to me
the language of silence
you body moved swiftly to disagree
the beauty of you
is not a science
then why are we experimenting through

I see you’re mine
Wait, you’re a minefield
Setting up the traps
Yet I did not have a clue
So I’ll watch the signs and make the right turn
To forget what’s left
For there ain’t no turning you

What will be said at the end of my life
Who’ll be singing at the end of my life
Carved on the tombstone my lovers’ had made
Captured by those ‘twas a moment too late…

If you send for me now
A moment in time
Where the love and the hate
Get further entwined
To cross the line at
Whatever the cost
It don’t matter to me
At the end of my life

Autumn appears and the winds mystify
We set our sails and move through the night
The winter seems longer than summer’s delight
Then blooms the blessing as springtime rolls by…

This morning I wrote and recorded a short song idea. Felt good. It was inspired by the following quote:

“Your imagination is your preview of life’s coming attractions.” ~ Albert Einstein
